About The Debt Advice Portal

Established in Spring 2007, The Debt Advice Portal was the first financial intermediary proposition to offer debt solutions as an extended business service.

Our main goal was and still is, to create a bridge between the client, financial intermediary and the debt solution providers. Respecting the trust between client and financial intermediary, we work with debt solution experts who understand the importance of sharing their knowledge to ensure intermediaries are equipped and confident to lead the relationship with their client as they venture down, what can be a very stressful path.

The ethos behind the Portal has evolved over the last few years. Born from a strong mortgage, finance and compliance background, we provide you with additional advice services to help your indebted clients. We work under a high level of ethics and transparency to ensure best practice is delivered to you and your clients by the debt solution experts we work with.

In 2009, we felt an obvious move was to join forces with our favoured debt solution provider, and this led to us becoming part of the ClearDebt Group plc.

Since our merger with the ClearDebt, we have substantially expanded our knowledge and product offering. Officially now the business to business arm of the Group, we will assist you in making sure your clients are being offered the right advice by the right people - you!

In light of the current recession and the staggering number of people who are having to come to terms with their unmanageable debt, we now work under a programme of rehabilitation and re-education for clients. Through products such as ClearCash, our education packs and debt guides, we will provide your clients with the correct tools to help them learn about intelligent money management - ensuring that, in time, they will prove to be valuable clients for you and your business once again.
